Why did we choose Valletta?

Our interest in Valletta arose when we saw some pictures both in travel guides and in the excursion group's photo albums. We decided to gather more information about Valletta.

Actually we wanted to give a brief presentation on the city, but it became more and more difficult to summarize all our findings in a short overview. There was so much material on the history of the island's capital, today's sights, and opportunities to spend your leisure time.

As Valletta is such a fascinating town, both historically and tourist-wise, we thought each tiny little piece of information was worth mentioning. That's how and why the project "55 reasons to visit Valletta," about two thirds of them in detail, developed.
