After reconnoitering at the Dublin Tourism Centre, some students took the "Hop on, Hop Off" city tour, others went to Trinity College to see the excellently displayed Book of Kells and the old library as well as to interview students and staff for an excursion project. Some students tackled their "city rally" tasks or enjoyed the summer sun at St. Stephen's Green, Phoenix Park, or the Docklands. A visit to O'Donoghue's, the atmospheric pub where the legendary Dubliners first sang, to hear live music completed the day.
