Malta in Siegen

For some students it might have been strange to enter the Audimax-Foyer on 13th June. This day was no Thursday like the others before. People were diving into a completely different world - a world full of music, poetry and Kinnie, a Maltese world.

What are we talking about? We´re talking about some brave and fearless Anglistik students who dared to travel across the Seven Seas to an unknown culture. This culture was so fascinating we couldn't stop them from bringing back parts of it to 'good old Siegen`.
Apart from a brilliant puppet show and heart-breaking ballads, you could even travel through the centuries of Maltese history. Of course, many colourful pictures were presented as well.
OK, so far so good. But what the hell is 'Kinnie`?!?!?!

Well, we took the risk of losing our lives and tasted it for you…just imagine the Austrian lemonade 'Almdudler` and add loads of mysterious, bitter flavoured fruits and HERE YOU ARE!
