Football Galore

If you take a look at Malta´s sport scene you can see the strong British influence. Golf, cricket and polo are popular sports on Malta. So is football, the world´s most watched and played sport. For us it was interesting to find out about football on Malta. Therefore we decided to do a project about the football league in one of Europe's smallest countries for the Maltese Market, finding out about its history, clubs, and the national team.

We had great fun doing the internet research and were amazed by what we saw: a well structured and organised league with good tradition on the club level, which many people in Europe do not know about.

Our project fitted in nicely, because on this day there was also a World Cup football match televised in the Bistro, which I considered obligatory to watch J.

So, all in all, it was a pretty sporting day for me!
