Tying Up Loose Ends in Sliema and Valletta

After early morning church for some excursioners, we made our way to the busy Sunday bazaar. The colourful presentation at Fort St. Elmo of the "langues" (national groups) of the Knights of the Maltese Order, which ruled Malta for several centuries, made us realize that Malta was the first "European Union"! Some horse-loving students spent the day at the race-track. The whole group descended upon "Maestro" for a merry farewell evening.
