Highland Day: Cities and Cliffs

"Highlands Day": we travelled to the catacombs in Rabat and the neighboring cathedral in Mdina, the ancient capital of Malta, called the "silent city." The panorama from the city walls gave us a view of the entire northern half of the island. Then a dusty hike to the Dingli Cliffs for some, and a sauna session in the Sliema spa for others. Tireless walkers discovered Stone Age cart tracks.
