Drowned and Expelled, but Saved by a McFlurry

Friday night in Dublin city. Styled and dressed in nothing more than jeans and shirts, six young girls were on their way to the party of their lives: Temple Bar, the place where the young meet, the place where the best music plays, the place where the best boys can be found and of course the place where the best parties can be celebrated; in short, the place everyone is dreaming of on a Friday night.

Imagine this euphoria: everything seems so perfect, everyone is happy and excited and nobody wants the night to end.

And what could be the worst disaster to happen? Exactly! The clouds were brewing, a clap of thunder sounded and the heavens released a huge deluge of water. But who cares? Frozen to death and half drowned, we finally reached the Temple Bar.

Can you imagine anything that could top this? - Well, we can! Just four words destroyed our dreams of joining the big party - "No bags on Fridays!" Disappointed we were about to leave, when four well-proportioned women with even bigger bags than ours were allowed to enter. We then realised that it's not the size of bags which is a criterion for entering, but the size of women's... .

Totally frustrated, we were making our way back when we decided to take an "anti-frustration-meal" at a fast-food restaurant, where we experienced the only bright spot of this evening. Sparkling in the spotlight and rotating on a desk, there he was -expelled from Germany and accepted in Ireland - the McFlurry Cappuccino!

It was immediately clear to us (Anne and Tamara) that we must have it; even if we had to take it with us to a Burger King restaurant where the others wanted to eat!

Have you ever eaten a McDonald's McFlurry at a Burger King restaurant? -Try it, you'll love it!!!
