Our project involved the interesting task of capturing on film the hearty attempts of a busful of students from Siegen to explore York and the surrounding countryside, to become acquainted with the locals and at the same time to understand the Yorkshire accent! In that film we also give a brief overview of movies that have been shot in Yorkshire, such as Billy Elliott, Calendar Girls, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. The result is a journey from Siegen through the North Yorkshire Moors to the place where Harry Potter waves his wand. We think we have produced a lively summary of an unforgettable trip!
