Many-Sided Excursion

by Tanja Reiffenrath

I actually find it very hard to point out one single event, day, thing we have done or seen and say “that was my personal highlight.” Every time I think I have figured out what I liked most, I only have to look through all the pictures and can again come up with at least five situations that were just as funny or memorable. I loved that our excursion was so many-sided and had so many different things to offer that simply cannot be compared to each other.

Being out in the Dales and breathing the fresh air or wading through the cold water down at the beach of Whitby were awesome – but so was our day in Leeds, jostling through stores and shopping centers and hurrying through the city in order to find Selby Road ;-). Our ghost walk was definitely something I will remember since it was so different from what I had expected. But it was also relieving to escape the creepy atmosphere into the coziness of the Evil Eye Lounge, where we all sat together joking. I think my “highlight” was that our trip was neither boring nor so hectic that we could not find the time to just sit down and watch people passing by in the Museum Garden…
