I really enjoyed doing the NEW WALK along the river Ouse, crossing the Millenium Bridge at the end of the path and then turning back on the other side of the river. The day we did our trip to the Yorkshire Moors was also one of my favorites because for the first time we did a long walk - at least more than one hour. It was great to see the typical plants of the area and I think it was especially nice on such a sunny day to see the heather in bloom, the sheep on the fields and the lovely small pub we passed on the way. Finally I had a very pleasant day on Tuesday when I went to the city on my own to spend some hours in the Record Shop and in a very big book shop where I read a lot of British magazines, for example the 'Wire'. |
