School Visits

On a cold and sunny morning a dozen LA students made their way from their comfortable accommodation at the University of Bath to Kingswood School. This was a mysterious place – nobody really knew what to expect. Tobias and Sascha had fought hard for an invitation like this one and they had been successful. But that was long ago. Now our dozen excited LA students arrived at the vast premises. After a very warm welcome was extended to them, they soon found out that there was no need to worry, neither about formalities, which might have been rather strict at a private boarding school, nor about what to eat on that day. So they started a fascinating time of guided walks round the wide parks, the atmospheric buildings and the best equipped IT rooms they had ever seen. Even sitting in on classes was possible, the Siegen students saw German and English lessons and eagerly grasped any opportunity to talk to pupils as well as to teachers.
