To be quite honest my highlight was the Spa but others will write about that, so I'm going to tell you about another special highlight: The Ghost Walk! ;-) The tour started very uninterestingly and it seemed to me it would be a very boring "Ghost Walk". The leader was an old man, hard to understand with his terrible and strong accent, who didn't stop telling long tales about people who had vanished or committed suicide in this mysterious city called BATH.
I found myself growing angry because of the 5 pounds, but then we walked up a small footpath which leads to the Royal Crescent and suddenly the atmosphere changed and became suspenseful! The old man told us to go down a small path where it would suddenly be colder... And yes, it was colder and very dark! Then he told us to enter a big bush and touch it; he warned us that our arms would start to tingle. The reason for this: Ghosts living in this bush would hug us and be our guardian angels... I didn't enter this bush because I was actually afraid! For a moment I really believed all that stuff.
Even though I knew that those stories were invented, I actually couldn't fall asleep that night!
Maybe there are ghosts and guardian angels in Bath after all...
Here you can see a few students touching the mysterious bush!!!
