After a week full of highlights, it is difficult to pick out a specific one.
I finally decided on the Roman Baths, because they are to my mind the main tourist attraction in Bath. This is maybe because I am really into history, especially the part of history that can still be seen or that influences today's world.
The museum seems to be expensive (it is £ 8.75 for students), but in contrast to the admission for the Jane Austin Centre (which, by the way, was my personal lowlight, but that's another story), it is worth every single penny. When walking through the Roman Baths, you can really imagine how it must have looked nearly 2,000 years ago. The provided audio guide helps you to travel back in time. It is fascinating how highly developed the Romans were.
My tip: the children's audio guide. It tells you funny and interesting stories that "took place" in the Roman times in Bath. Really well done!
