Red Leicester

Ludwig Every time I visit a foreign country, I see products that would never be offered in German supermarkets. Mostly these things are very similar to the ones we have here, and sometimes the only difference is the name. But on various occasions I have made some remarkable discoveries: In South Korea, for example, you can buy spaghetti noodles that are much thinner than in Italy, and the salt is already part of the substance they are made of - amazing! And in Italy, I had my first experience with an energy drink in a tin that looked like a very small hand grenade. Cool.
And what about Bath, or Great Britain, respectively? At the Sainsbury's store, I discovered the wonderful Red Leicester cheese. It is tasty, very soft, but you can still grasp it with your fingers. It has a smooth flavour with traces of salt, orange, potato and vinegar.
Every morning, before we met outside our accommodation at 9 a.m., I would eat one or two pieces for breakfast. No bread or butter, because there was not enough time. Only cheese. I also tried blueberry cheese and Chester, but they had to be ruled out.
As soon as possible, I'm going to try and find cheese like this in Germany.
