Outing to Loch Lomond and Glasgow:
Hikes and Haggis

The entire bus of excursion participants headed for the West of Scotland on Sunday, 22 June. After a steep hike up Conic Mountain with a breath-taking view of famous Loch Lomond and a boat cruise on the Loch itself, the excursioners travelled to Glasgow, where they were impressed by Glasgow’s combination of traditional and contemporary architecture. The hungry crew was glad to wander through the lively student district to find an inexpensive dinner – some brave ones were pleasantly surprised by the delicious haggis, other equally brave ones enjoyed a fiery Indian meal! For more details, read the Sunday passage in the students’ excursion diary.
